Today I have very special post to share. A guest post by my lovely friend at simplerecipes.me. I am huge fan of her work. Her simple way of describing the recipe and only few words to convey the beauty and essence of it. It is so amazing to see how she makes you feel comfortable and like you have known her for ever. I had been wanting to ask her to guest blog for so long but wasn’t sure how to approach. She is the sweetest fellow blogger. She not only accepted to be a guest blogger in my blog but also guided me through the whole process. So with pride and honor I present to you my friend and fellow foodie Juliana.
“Hi my name is Juliana, I was born in Taiwan, raised in Brazil and now I live in South Bay area, California. Exploring and experimenting is what I love to do the most, especially when related to my day time work and in regards to food. All my cooking, most of them simple but grand from time to time are done and shared with “carinho”, which is a term used in Brazil resembling “love” and “care” all together.
When Chandani asked me to be her guest I felt very honored to be able so share one of my recipe with her readers. I choose this recipe, because it translates what my site is: simple with a touch of my mixed background.”
- 1 lb boneless chicken thigh sliced into 2 or 3 pieces
- 5 to 6 clove garlic, chopped
- 1½ teaspoon dry parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1½ tablespoon olive oil
Method:
- In a medium bowl place all the ingredients except the flour, mix gently and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add the flour and toss so each piece of chicken is lightly covered with flour.
- In a fry pan, heat the olive oil and place the chicken in a medium/high heat. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown, flip to the other side and continue cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
